After 42 years, I needed to downsize and relocate. Lauren was a most professional real estate agent: forthright, honest, and extremely organized in a manner that decreased most of the chaos that can come with a traumatic relocation. Her networking is par excellence. Her business contacts all extoled her competence and congeniality. However, she is no pushover for sure, and you can count on her to stand firm on your behalf when the moment is necessary. All the surprise difficulties of getting my old house ready to sell were so much smoother due to her ability to help me find competent people to do what was necessary. Moreover, she helped me keep in order all the new house deadlines and lists necessary to build my first ever new house. Lauren helped our family relocate from Chicago to Indianapolis earlier this year. We were extremely pleased with the service she provided. We were unfamiliar with the neighborhoods so she took the time to drive around with us for a few weekends before going on the hunt. After we got an accepted offer, Lauren went above and beyond to protect us throughout the sale. The house had not been maintained properly for several years, and after the initial inspection, she scheduled multiple appointments with specialists in the following week to obtain quotes to fix several major deficiencies (attic remediation, windows repairs/replacement, chimney & masonry work, and others). This gave us hard numbers and leverage to negotiate the price, and we obtained a very good price reduction from the seller as a result. Lauren called the city multiple times to understand what the process is to remove the tanks and how to address the permits. This falls outside of real estate agents responsibilities, and we were very grateful for the extra help, guidance and follow up tips and contacts that she shared with us after the sale. Lauren would be our first pick without hesitation for future real estate transactions.
